Direction nearly found

Still playing about with the whole vibe of the painting, the possibilities for change is still very open. I've decided to create life using natural light and man made, combined with vegetation and insects. I feel I need to stop for tonight, take a break and re visit tomorrow as I need to keep my mind open and try not to become to fixed on one particular idea.

Walk in the Woods: sketch up

So after my portrait studies I wanted to get back to my world where Yuffie and Blink are taking a walk through the woods. This is a composition that I had in mind I just need to give it some more style and life, lots and lots of life. I think in order for me to progress I need to invest some time into researching forests and environments, its going to be fun coming back to environments as they tend to be my weak spot.
